Recovery Metrics is a clinical outcomes and workflow platform designed for medical and allied health teams across private practice, community services, hospitals, and telehealth. If you deliver care and need routine outcome monitoring, measurement-based care, and clinical decision support—with minimal disruption to your current software—this is for you.
Routine Outcome Monitoring (ROM; also commonly referred to as Measurement Based Care [MBC], Feedback-Informed Therapy [FIT], session-by-session monitoring and deliberate practice) refers to the regular and systematic collection of scientifically-validated measures about a person’s progress throughout and experience during the course of treatment. This measures are often referred to as Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and Patient-Reported Experience Measures (PREMs).
Routine Outcome Monitoring is one of the most effective strategies to improve the quality, efficiency, and impact of healthcare.
✅ Better Outcomes: Routinely tracking progress helps identify what’s working and what’s not, enabling timely adjustments to care.
✅ Stronger Therapeutic Alliance: Engaging patients in monitoring builds trust, shared decision-making, and collaboration.
✅ Reduced Cancellation and Drop-Out Rates: When patients see their progress (or lack thereof), they’re more likely to stay engaged in care.
✅ Improved Accountability & Clinical Performance: Clinicians and services can identify and actively address areas for improvement whilst also being able to demonstrate their effectiveness.
✅ Essential for Funding & Compliance: Especially in value-based care models, being able to show measurable outcomes is critical for sustainability and growth.
Measurement-Based Care (MBC) is the routine use of standardised assessments (including PROMs and PREMs) to track a patient’s symptoms, progress, and experience throughout treatment. It allows clinicians to make informed, real-time decisions based on data - improving outcomes and engagement.
PROMs (Patient-Reported Outcome Measures) assess changes in a patient's symptoms or functioning. PREMs (Patient-Reported Experience Measures) capture how a patient experiences their care. Together, they provide a comprehensive view of treatment effectiveness and quality.
A Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS) is a digital tool that provides clinicians with real-time insights and recommendations to support diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Unlike other outcome monitoring solutions:
1. Recovery Metrics integrates with your exisiting practice management software, removing the need for double-up data entry into another, seperate system.
2. Psychometric questionnaires and patient satisfaction surveys are linked to the patients' appointments and automatically sent before/after scheduled appointments.
3. Data is collected and collated from a variety of different sources including (but not limited to) practitioner notes, patient reported outcomes, GP monitoring*.
4. Practitioners are alerted to high risk responses as well as patients at risk of treatment dropout and treatment progress deemed to be slower than expected.
5. Our solution has demonstrated a 100% questionnaire response rate in real-life trials.
This is just the beginning! We have so much more planned for our future feature rollouts.
